3 Ingredient Pancakes (yeah you read that right!)

Alright Balance Babes and Balance Bros (that’s going to be a thing from now on 😉 ) I want to introduce you to one of the yummiest, easiest, and healthiest little recipes that I have ever laid my eyes on. This little token of love is one for the books!

I am obsessed with these little guys and could literally eat them for every meal. My passion for nutrition might fool you into thinking I love to cook. This is a huge misconception. I do like to cook, a few steps here, a few ingredients there, wah-lah, donezo, move on with life, I’ve got ‘ish’ to do.

So, when a recipe calls for 3 ingredients that I have in my kitchen all the time, and it literally takes 5 minutes from start to when it’s in my belly, I am all in.  I am sure you are dying to know what the heck I am talking about so, here are the deets…

These are 3 ingredient pancakes! (Thanks The Skinny Confidential!!!) They are gluten free, have a ton of potassium, a good amount of protein and contain chai seeds. Chai seeds are awesome because they detox your bod. They absorb liquid and act like an intestinal broom, moving waste efficiently through your gastrointestinal tract. Kinda gross but, kinda cool too, right!?!? They are tasteless, so they are great to add to smoothies, cereal, oatmeal, or whatever to get that broom action going daily.

**This is for one serving. It probably could feed two but, I am a fatty when it comes to these so, for me it proudly feeds one 🙂

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 banana
  • 1 to 2 scoops of chai seeds

Steps:

  1. Dump all ingredients into your blender of choice (I use a NutriBullet).
  2. Use nonstick spray of choice (I use coconut oil cooking spray) on pan, medium heat, make normal size pancake shape by putting batter on pan.
  3. Wait five minutes and flip!
  4. Wait another 5 minutes and you’re done!

For me, this makes about 7 pancakes. I usually add some butter and for you syrup lovers out there, I usually use 100% pure organic maple syrup for my man.  I gotcha boo 😉 You can also add cinnamon in the batter or on top for a more festive taste! Enjoy!
